The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has said in
a significant choice today that it has made a move on Mastercard, referring to

RBI has forced a restriction on Mastercard Asia/Pacific Pte. Won't add new

RBI said that this request wouldn't
influence existing clients of MasterCard. Mastercard will prompt all card
giving banks and non-banks to adhere to these guidelines. RBI said that the
move has been made in exercise of the forces vested in RBI under Section 17 of
the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007 (PSS Act).
Mastercard is an installment framework
administrator approved to work the card network in the country. According to
RBI's roundabout on the capacity of installment framework information dated
April 6, 2018, all framework suppliers were coordinated to guarantee that the
